Cancellation Policy

Wedding Minister/Officiant Booking Policy 1. Booking Confirmation: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date and time. The deposit will be applied toward the total service fee. 2. Consultation: A complimentary consultation is available to discuss your ceremony details, preferences, and any special requests. Additional consultations may be arranged at an hourly rate of 100 per hour. 3. Ceremony Customization: The ceremony will be customized to reflect your unique relationship and beliefs. This includes personal vows, special rituals, and specific readings, which can be discussed during consultations. For couples seeking a straightforward, non-customized ceremony, I offer a selection of basic ceremony scripts that cover traditional, civil, and spiritual themes. These ceremonies are perfect for those who prefer a simple, no-fuss approach. The ceremony will include standard non religious vows and readings, with no additional customization. Non-custom basic ceremonies are available at a reduced rate and can be scheduled with minimal lead time, subject to availability. Travel fees and legal requirements still apply as per the general booking policy. 4. Travel and Accommodations: Travel expenses are included within a 30 mile radius of Sacramento, CA. For weddings beyond this area, additional travel fees will apply. If overnight accommodations are required, the client is responsible for covering these costs. 5. Rehearsal: Attendance at the rehearsal is available for an additional flat fee of 200. This ensures that the ceremony runs smoothly and that all participants are comfortable with their roles. 6. Payment Terms: The balance of the service fee is due on the wedding date. Payments can be made via money order or any preferred electronic payment method such as PayPal or Zelle. 7. Cancellations and Refunds: In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. If the wedding is canceled within 1 week of the scheduled date, 50% of the total fee will be due. Refunds are not available for cancellations made within 5 days of the event 8. Legal Requirements: It is the couple’s responsibility to obtain a valid marriage license in accordance with state laws. As your officiant, I am committed to delivering a respectful, meaningful, and well-prepared ceremony. I will arrive at the venue at least 1 hour prior to the start time to ensure all details are in place.
